Experience design and engineering
As lead front-end engineer for the BMW UK team at Oliver Agency, my initial focus was delivering a custom-built CMS empowering non-technical BMW staff to create fully customizable web layouts for their campaigns, complete with a comprehensive set of composable components.
Notably, the 2016 mobile adaptation of the BMW UK i-Series website was running on my work.
Transitioning to Oliver Agency's in-house digital agency (Dare) in late 2016, I contributed to a range of high-profile projects, including NIKE's Winners Stays platform, the EE network coverage UIs, the first professional-grade Parkrun website, and sophisticated digital experiences for the Hakkasan luxury brand.
Progressing in my role, I partnered with one of the most senior engineer, and together we became the agency's go-to technical team.
By mid-2017, with Dare facing a period of financial uncertainty, I made the strategic decision to return to the dynamic environment of a product-focused company.
This led me to an exciting opportunity with the well-established prop-tech leader, Zoopla.
I left Dare with a portfolio of successfully launched projects that I'm incredibly proud of, and valuable relationships with many talented individuals who I'm sure have gone on to achieve great things.
